Biathlon: Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold suffers hip injury
The Norwegian national team is currently in training at the passo de Lavazè (Italy), as it was last June. Popular with the best team on the planet, the Italian venue is giving the kingdom’s biathletes the chance to make their final adjustments at altitude before putting their cross-country skis back on in a few weeks’ time in their homeland.
There is one notable absence: Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold. She injured her wrist at the start of the summer after a fall during a trail race, and this time she is nursing a painful hip.

“I’m in a bit of pain, she explained to TV2. It means I can’t train much at the moment, so it’s a bit risky to go to Lavazè without knowing if I’ll be able to roller-ski.”
Taking it in her stride, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold is preparing alone at home, hoping not to have to regret this setback over the winter.
