Biathlon | Nordic skiing: a new French outfit designed for excellence
This Wednesday morning, the FFS unveiled the design of the new overalls for the French biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping teams .
After last winter’s colourful blue, red and gold outfit, it was decided this time to give pride of place to dark blue, as will be the case for the 2023/2024 season. The overall effect is quite impressive and will make it easy for fans to recognise the French team in international races in a few weeks’ time.
The design, which is both sober and assertive, uses the emblematic colours of the French flag on the right arm and left leg, a symbol of pride and elegance on the slopes,” says a press release, “while the white-white-red are clearly visible in these areas of the suit. It includes subtle motifs evoking ski tracks, a symbol of the Nordic world.

The 2025/2026 outfit has been designed as an extension of Craft’s expertise and incorporates the latest advances in textiles,” he added. Combining technical features, comfort and French identity, this new suit has been developed in collaboration with the athletes to meet the demands of performance, precision and regularity specific to the discipline.
Finally, it should be noted that the athletes will be wearing special clothing at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. This outfit, which will be completely free of sponsorship, will be unveiled later in the season.
