Biathlon | Nordic skiing: Swiss managers for the coming season
Early on Wednesday afternoon, Swiss-Ski unveiled its squad for the 2024/2025 season. The biathlon squad includes thirty athletes. Of these, only Amy Baserga, Lena Haecki-Gross and Niklas Hartweg have national team status, whileAita Gasparin, Joscha Burkhalter and Sebastian Stalder form the A squad.
Coralie Langel, making her Swiss debut, Lydia Mettler (ex Hiernickel), Lea Meier, James Pacal, Jeremy Finello, Dajan Danuser, Matthias Riebli and Gion Stalder are in the B frame.
In Nordic combined, Pascal Mueller, in the B frame, is once again one of only two members of the Swiss-Ski list, along with Finn Kempf (C frame). In ski jumping, only Gregor Deschwanden, for the second season in a row, is in the national team, while Felix Trunz and Killian Peier are in the A frame. Simon Ammann, Sina Arnet, Sandro Hauswirth, Remo Imhof, Juri Kesseli and Yannick Wasser are in the B squad.
In cross-country skiing, no fewer than forty-one athletes make up the Swiss-Ski team. Nadine Faehndrich, Anja Weber, Janik Riebli and Valerio Grond are in the national team. The A squad, made up of five cross-country skiers, includes Nadja Kaelin, Alina Meier, Cyril Faehndrich, Beda Klee and Jason Rueesch.
