Biathlon : return to the IBU Cup for Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Marit Oeygard also in the running
It’s a safe bet that even without Martin Uldal, current leader of the overall IBU Cup World Cup standings in Hochfilzen (Austria), the Norwegians should once again be formidable in Obertilliach (Austria), the third round of the season starting this Thursday.

With a squad featuring Sverre Dahlen Aspenes, Sivert Guttorm Bakken, Johan-Olav Botn, Isak Frey, Vetle Paulsen and Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, the Red Armada will once again be keen to shine in Tyrol. With such a strong squad, every performance counts if they hope to join the elite this season. Johannes Dale-Skjevdal can testify to this, as the Scandinavian, who has so far competed in the World Cup, will once again have to prove his worth in the antechamber of the World Cup.

In the women’s race, Eline Grue, for the first time this season, Ragnhild Femsteinevik, Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, Siri Skar and Marit Ishol Skogan will also be able to count on the support of Marit Oeygard, who has just made her first start at the highest level. The six biathletes will defend their chances in a sprint, a mass-start, mixed relays and mixed relays.
