10:29. After the sprints, it was the mass-starts that were on the programme this Sunday morning at the Norwegian Biathlon Cup in Geilo (Norway). Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, who had already won the day before, repeated her performance by dominating this mass start at 19/20.
Aasne Skrede (18/20) was second at 5 sec 1 while Maren Bakken (20/20) was third at 24 sec 2 ahead of Anne Bunneman De Besche (18/20), Frida Dokken (20/20) and Guro Feimsteinevik (20/20). Forty-third place for France in the Holmenkollen Biathlon went to Julie Baverel (14/20).
In the men’s mass start, Sivert Gerhardsen (19/20) was the most solid. With just one fault on his final shot, the reigning world junior champion in the mixed relay, mass-start 60 and relay was 9.4 seconds ahead of Mats Oeverby (18/20) and 11.7 seconds ahead of Vetle Paulsen (18/20).
