Biathlon: time for the women’s individual short in Nove Mesto
After the men’s individual short won by Eric Perrot, it was the women’s turn on Friday to compete in their individual short at the Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic). At 6.15pm, Ukrainian Khrystyna Dmytrneko, who inherited number 1 in the draw, will start as the opener.
Among the first starters, there will be some fine names: Joanna Jakiela (2), Lea Meier (3), Anna Gandler (4), Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold (5), Anastasiya Kuzmina (7), Venla Lehtonen (9), Joanne Reid (10), Ukaleq Slettemark (12), Jessica Jislova (13), Sophia Schneider (14) and Anna-Karin Heijdenberg (15) will start early in the race.

Germany’s Anna Weidel (16) will then open the blue group, followed by Rebecca Passler (17), Lucie Charvatova (18), Paulina Batovska Fialkova (20), Polona Klemencic (22), Baiba Bendika (23), Lisa Theresa Hauser (24), Yuliia Dzhima (25), Tereza Vobornikova (26), Sonja Leinamo (27) and Jeanne Richard (28).

Yellow number Lou Jeanmonnot (30) will then launch the red group of favourites. Johanna Skottheim (31), Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (32), Siri Skar (33), Anna Magnusson (34), Lena Repinc (35), red number Dorothea Wierer (36), Julia Simon (38), Camille Bened (40), Lena Haecki-Gross (41), Lisa Vittozzi (42), Amy Baserga (44), Océane Michelon (46), Marlene Fichtner (47), Franziska Preuss (48), Aita Gasparin (49), Suvi Minkkinen (50) and Anna Hedstroem (51) will start next.
