Biathlon: time for the chases in Nove Mesto
The Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) continues this Saturday with the pursuits. First, at 2.55pm, the men’s race gets underway, with sprint winner Emilien Jacquelin starting with bib number 1.
Next up are Tommaso Giacomel at 20 seconds, Johannes Thingnes Boe at 21 seconds, Eric Perrot at 23 seconds, Endre Stroemsheim at 27 seconds, Jesper Nelin at 33 seconds, Quentin Fillon-Maillet at 34 seconds, Emilien Claude at 37 seconds, Campbell Wright at 39 seconds, Niklas Hartweg at 41 seconds, Sebastian Samuelsson at 46 seconds, Vebjoern Soerum at 50 seconds, Martin Ponsiluoma at 53 seconds and Sturla Holm Lægreid at 58 seconds.

Further back, Martin Uldal at 1 min 5, Oscar Lombardot at 1 min 7, Justus Strelow at 1 min 12, Fabien Claude at 1 min 15, Tarjei Boe at 1 min 20, Philipp Nawrath at 1 min 21, Jakov Fak at 1 min 30, Dmytro Pidruchnyi at 1 min 49 and Florent Claude at 1 min 57.

Then, at 5.40pm, it’s the turn of the women to set off on their penultimate chase of the season. Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, buoyed by her success in the sprint, will be the first to set off.
Next up are Justine Braisaz-Bouchet at 15 seconds, Julia Simon at 21 seconds, Lou Jeanmonnot at 27 seconds with the red bib, Lisa Theresa Hauser and Karoline Knotten at 37 seconds, Suvi Minkkinen at 38 seconds, Milena Todorova at 40 seconds, Dorothea Wierer at 44 seconds, Selina Grotian at 47 seconds, Jeanne Richard at 49 seconds with the blue bib, Maren Kirkeeide at 50 seconds, Océane Michelon at 52 seconds, Hanna Oeberg at 53 seconds and Franziska Preuss at 54 seconds with the yellow bib.

Further back, Anamarija Lampic (+1 min 8), Sara Andersson (+1 min 13), Yuliia Dzhima (+1 min 16), Ragnhild Femsteinevik (+1 min 26), Ida Lien (+1 min 29), Julia Tannheimer (+1 min 30), Anna Magnusson (+1 min 36), Lena Haecki-Gross and Sophie Chauveau (+1 min 42) and Marketa Davidova and Maya Cloetens (+2 min 2) were all dropped.
