Biathlon: World Cup finals in Oslo-Holmenkollen end this Sunday
This Sunday, the Biathlon World Cup in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway), the final stage of the 2024/2025 season, comes to a close with the traditional mass-starts.
At 1.15pm, the women’s race kicks off with a big prize at stake: the crystal globe. Separated by 5 points at the start of this mass-start, Lou Jeanmonnot (1) and Franziska Preuss (2) will be vying for the precious trophy.
Julia Simon (3), Jeanne Richard (4), Océane Michelon (5), Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (8) and Camille Bened (26), on her first World Cup stage, will also be taking part in this last race of the winter. Paula Botet, the first reserve, could also be included if she withdraws.
Then, at 3.40pm, the men’s mass start will begin. It will be the last career start for Johannes Thingnes Boe (2) and Tarjei Boe (8). In the French clan, there will be six: Eric Perrot (3), Quentin Fillon-Maillet (4), Emilien Jacquelin (7), Fabien Claude (12), Emilien Claude (20) and Antonin Guigonnat (24).
