Biathlon: Paula Botet, thirteenth in line
By winning the World Cup sprint in Oberhof (Germany) on Thursday afternoon, 24-year-old Paula Botet from La Bresse made French biathlon history.
This success, achieved with a 10/10 score, means that the Vosges native has become the thirteenth French biathlete to win an individual race on the most prestigious of international circuits.

The top twelve are : Sandrine Bailly, Corinne Niogret, Marie Dorin-Habert, Anne Briand, Emmanuelle Claret, Florence Baverel, Sylvie Becaert, Anaïs Bescond, Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet, Julia Simon, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and Lou Jeanmonnot.
Her mother Véronique Claudel, although an Olympic relay champion in 1992, is not on the list.
