Biathlon: Natalia Sidorowicz absent from Poland’s squad for Oberhof
At the start of this week, the Polish Biathlon Federation unveiled the list of athletes selected for the World Cup scheduled to take place in Oberhof (Germany) in the coming days .
There’s a surprise in store: Natalia Sidorowicz, the women’s leader for the day, is absent from the squad. Kamila Zuk, Monika Hojnisz-Starega, Joanna Jakiela and Anna Maka will defend the Polish colours in Thuringia.

The men’s squad includes Grzegorz Galica, Konrad Badacz, Jan Gunka and Fabian Suchodolski. The Polish squad is completed by Darya Dolidovich, a Belarusian refugee in Poland competing under the banner of the refugee biathlon team. She will be making her World Cup debut at the age of 21.
