Biathlon: mixed relays to round off Oberhof week
The Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof (Germany) concludes this Sunday with the mixed events, the second of the 2024/2025 winter season. The action kicks off at 12:20pm with the start of the mixed single relay.
For the occasion, France will be fielding an unprecedented pairing of Quentin Fillon-Maillet and Paula Botet, the sprint winners earlier this week. To make their way to the podium, they will have to get past Sweden’s Viktor Brandt and Anna Magnusson, Germany’s Justus Strelow and Selina Grotian, Austria’s Simon Eder and Lisa Theresa Hauser, Norway’s Vebjoern Soerum and Karoline Knotten, Switzerland’s Niklas Hartweg and Amy Baserga, Finland’s Suvi Minkkinen and Tero Seppälä and Slovenia’s Jakov Fak and Lena Repinc.

The mixed relay will then start at 2.30pm , with Fabien Claude, Eric Perrot, Jeanne Richard and Lou Jeanmonnot representing France. Norway(Sturla Holm Lægreid, Tarjei Boe, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Maren Kirkeeide) will be keeping a close eye on the competition, as will Sweden(Sebastian Samuelsson, Martin Ponsiluoma, Hanna Oeberg, Elvira Oeberg) and Germany(Danilo Riethmueller, Philipp Nawrath, Julia Tannheimer, Franziska Preuss).
