Biathlon: Anamarija Lampic defeats the Austrians
On Sunday morning, the Austrian biathlon selections got underway on the snowfarm in Obertilliach (Austria) with sprints… also contested by the Slovenians, Bulgarians and Croats, also on training camp.
In the women’s race, Slovenia’s Anamarija Lampic (9/10) rode a full race to win by 16 seconds 8 seconds ahead of Bulgaria’s Lora Hristova (10/10) and 36 seconds 3 seconds ahead of her compatriot Polona Klemencic (9/10). The first Austrian was Lisa Theresa Hauser (8/10), fourth at 41 sec 8.

Lea Rothschopf (10/10), Anna Gandler (8/10), Kristina Oberthaler (10/10), Croatia’s Anika Kozica (9/10), Bulgaria’s Maria Zdravkova (10/10) and Valentina Dimitrova (8/10), another Bulgarian, make up the top 10.
Felix Leitner ahead in the men’s race
In the men’s race, Austria’s Felix Leitner (9/10) won by a margin of 11.7 seconds over his compatriot Fabian Muellauer (8/10). At 20.5 seconds, veteran Simon Eder (8/10) rounded off the podium, just a few seconds ahead of Patrick Jakob (9/10).

Anton Vidmar (8/10), Miha Dovzan (9/10), Blagov Todev (8/10), Kresimir Crnkovic (8/10), Fredrik Muehlbacher (7/10) and Lukas Haslinger (9/10) complete today’s top 10.
