Biathlon: a first announcement for the IBU Cup in Arber
On Monday lunchtime, the French Ski Federation (FFS) unveiled the first names of the French nationals selected for the IBU Biathlon Cup in Arber (Germany). For the time being, this is only a partial selection, as the last places will be awarded over the weekend at the French Cup in Prémanon (Jura).
Five of them have already been selected: Camille Bened, Chloé Chevalier, Gilonne Guigonnat, Voldiya Galmace-Paulin and Sophie Chauveau will certainly be taking part. One ticket remains to be decided and, compared with the last group seen on the B circuit, it is Fany Bertrand who is back in contention.

On the men’s side, only Théo Guiraud-Poillot, Axel Garnier and Gaëtan Paturel have secured their tickets for Arber. Oscar Lombardot is absent after a recent operation, but will return to the squad as soon as possible. So there are potentially three places up for grabs this weekend.
