Biathlon: third Nations Cup in three years for Les Bleues
For almost 30 years, the French have not won a single Biathlon World Cup Nations Cup , but over the last few winters, winning the small globe has become a regular occurrence.
Winners of the trophy in 2023 and 2024, France have won it again this year. The girls coached by Cyril Burdet, Jean-Paul Giachino and Patrick Favre have dominated the hierarchy from start to finish, enabling Les Bleues to win the Nations Cup for the sixth time after 1993, 1995, 1996, 2023 and 2024.

Eight women took part in this Nations Cup, a specific hierarchy that takes into account the three best results in sprints and individuals as well as relay results: Julia Simon, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Lou Jeanmonnot, Océane Michelon, Jeanne Richard, Paula Botet, Sophie Chauveau and Camille Bened.
With an impressive total of 9,060 points, Les Bleues won the small globe ahead of Sweden (8,146), Germany (8,051) and Norway (7,967).
