Biathlon: French protest after the mass start in Oslo-Holmenkollen
The French biathlon team decided to lodge a complaint after the women’s mass start of the Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway) World Cup. Lou Jeanmonnot from Doubt was involved in a collision with Franziska Preuss in the final of the decisive race of the 2024/2025 season.
A protest that the French team withdrew a few minutes later, even before the competition jury met to rule. According to our colleagues at La Chaîne L’Equipe, it was Stéphane Bouthiaux who took the decision after looking more closely at the video. “There’s no obstruction, Lou falls on his own”, he said.
