Biathlon: time for the men’s individual event in Östersund
Following Dorothea Wierer ‘s victory in the women’s individual at the Biathlon World Cup in Östersund (Sweden), it’s the men’s turn to take to the track this Wednesday from 3.30pm. Poland’s Konrad Badacz will start first.
Then, before the start of the first favourites, there will be Sondre Slettemark (2), Lukas Hofer (5), Joscha Burkhalter (7), Isak Frey (8), Viktor Brandt (9), Florent Claude (12) and Paul Schommer (14).

The blue group will start with Switzerland’s Niklas Hartweg (16). Next up are Philipp Horn (18), Michal Krcmar (20), Lucas Fratzscher (21), Campbell Wright (22), Tero Seppälä (24), Emilien Claude (26), Dmytro Pidruchnyi (28) and Antonin Guigonnat (30), Justus Strelow (32), Andrejs Rastorgujevs (34), Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen (36), Vitezslav Hornig (38), Jesper Nelin (40), Vitalii Mandzyn (41) and Danilo Riethmueller (42).

The famous red group will then be opened by Peiserot Eric Perrot (44), reigning world champion in the format. Sturla Holm Lægreid, with the 46 and a yellow and red bib, will follow, then Fabien Claude (48), Simon Eder (49), Martin Ponsiluoma (50), Quentin Fillon-Maillet (52), Maxime Germain (53), Sebastian Samuelsson (54), Tommaso Giacomel (56), Martin Uldal (58), Jakov Fak (60), Simon Kaiser (61), Endre Stroemsheim (62), Johan-Olav Botn (63), Emilien Jacquelin (64) and Philipp Nawrath (66).
