Biathlon: Slovakia with eight for the first World Cup
Late on Friday afternoon, the Slovak Biathlon Federation announced the names of the eight biathletes selected for the World Cup in Östersund (Sweden), scheduled to start on 29 November.
On the women’s side, leaders Anastasiya Kuzmina and Paulina Batovska Fialkova, who have been in fine form over the last few days in Geilo (Norway) and Lenzerheide (Switzerland), will be joined by Zuzana Remenova and Ema Kapustova. The latter qualified during the races inObertilliach (Austria).
In the men’s category, Simon Adamov, Artur Ischakov and Tomas Sklenarik picked up their tickets at the Austrian races to fly to Sweden with Jakub Borgula.
