Biathlon: Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet stands out from the crowd
This weekend’s final of the French Biathlon Cup, held in Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie), has a dual purpose: it will award national titles and medals in the U17, U19 and U22 sprint and pursuit events. On Saturday morning, the women’s U17 sprint kicked off with Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet being crowned French champion.
With a time of 9/10, the biathlete from the Mont-Blanc committee dominated the competition to win by a margin of 43 seconds 0 seconds over Dauphinois Jeanne Dautheville (8/10), who took silver. At 57 sec 1, Chloé Vermeulen (9/10) took bronze.

Cassandre Couder (7/10), Rose Marguet (8/10), Ninon Duvillard (9/10), Romane Ottenheimer de Gail (10/10), Taïna Buisson (9/10), Noémie Penalvert (8/10) and Zélie Pic (6/10) all made the top 10.
