Biathlon: double success for Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet in Peisey-Nancroix
Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet won the women’s U17 sprint atthe French Biathlon Cup in Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie) on Saturday, a victory that was synonymous with a national gold medal in the discipline. She followed up this Sunday morning with the pursuit.
Leading from start to finish, she was never troubled and managed to win solo at 12/15. La Cluse thus becomes French U17 pursuit champion and… secures the overall ranking for the 2024/2025 French U17 biathlon championships .

On the day’s podium were Chloé Vermeulen (14/15) in silver at 42 sec 1 and Zabou Mellouet-Achard (14/15), who climbed from eleventh place, in bronze at 1 min 50 sec 3.

Jeanne Dautheville (8/15), Cassandre Couder (9/15), Rose Marguet (11/15), Zélie Pic (11/15), Eline Curnillon (11/15), Gabrielle Bourgeois (12/15) and Ninon Duvillard (12/15) all made the top 10.
