Biathlon: Léo Carlier’s triumph
Already crowned French U19 and U22 champion in the sprint on Saturday in Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie) as part of the French Biathlon Cup finals, Léo Carlier went one better on Sunday afternoon in the pursuit.

The Doubiste native added scratch victory to his two national titles. With a score of 18/20 on the Savoyard shooting range, Léo Carlier won by a clear margin of more than a minute over seniors Valentin Lejeune (16/20) and Rémi Broutier (16/20).

Next up were Judicaël Perrillat-Bottonet (19/20), silver medallist at U22 level, Camille Grataloup-Manissolle (19/20), silver medallist at U19 level and bronze medallist at U22 level, Corentin Jacob (14/20), Enzo Bouillet (17/20), bronze medallist at U19 level, Antonin Guy (16/20), Nathanaël Peaquin (17/20) and Mathieu Garcia (13/20), winner of the French Cup, in the top 10.
