Biathlon: Niels Bibollet’s demonstration in the U17s
Beaten by a whisker on Saturday by Yann Roguet in the sprint at the French Biathlon Cup in Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie), Niels Bibollet exacted his revenge in the pursuit on Sunday morning.
The biathlete clocked an exceptional 15/15 at the shooting range andquickly took the lead, eventually winning by more than 2 minutes ahead of Yann Roguet (7/15) and Nicolas Colomban (10/15). The Mont-Blanc committee thus completed a hat-trick of wins, taking all three medals at stake in this event, which was the backdrop to the French U17 championships in the format.

Charly Roy (10/15), Adrian Dorel (7/15), Eliot Perrillat-Bottonet (10/15), Martin Minazzi (10/15), Joé Guinchard (13/15), Malo Andreis (10/15) and Gaspard Dordor (9/15) made it into the top 10, just ahead of Augustin Remonnay (7/15) in eleventh place.
