Biathlon: yellow bib on her back, Léonie Jeannier wins like a boss
After the U17 races at the end of the morning, it was the women’s sprint at the French Biathlon Cup in Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie) early on Saturday afternoon.
On Eric Perrot’s home turf, it was Franc-Comtoise Léonie Jeannier, wearing the yellow bib, who dominated the proceedings. With a time of 9/10, she won by a margin of 6.5 seconds over Violette Bony (9/10) from Annéci, who was crowned French U22 champion in the event.

Coralie Langel (8/10) was third overall at 39.6 seconds, while Vosgienne Maëla Correia (10/10), fourth, took silver in the U22 category.

Next in the rankings were Noémie Remonnay (8/10), Léna Moretti (9/10), new French U19 champion and bronze medallist at U22 level, Lola Bugeaud (7/10), silver medallist at U19 level, Thémice Fontaine (9/10), Chloé Orvain (7/10), bronze medallist at U19 level, and Louise Roguet (6/10).
