Biathlon: victory and gold by a whisker for Yann Roguet in Peisey-Nancroix
Late on Saturday morning, the men’s U17 sprint at the French Biathlon Cup in Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie) provided plenty of excitement. A few minutes afterAdèle Ouvrier-Buffet won the women’s title, Yann Roguet, also a member of the Mont-Blanc committee, was crowned French champion.
With a score of 8/10, the Praz-de-Lys/Sommand biathlete made one mistake per run over the mats, putting him just 0.4 seconds ahead of Niels Bibollet at the finish line. Malo Andreis from Dauphiné (9/10), at 8 sec 2, took the bronze medal.

Adrian Dorel (8/10), Nathanaël Cullell (8/10), Sacha Mazzilli-Riaboff (7/10), Nicolas Cololban (5/10), Charly Roy (7/10), Jules Lafoux (8/10) and Eliot Perrillat-Bottonet (7/10) rounded off the top 10. Doubiste Augustin Remonnay (5/10), one of the race favourites, was only thirteenth.
