Biathlon: logical change to the starting order in Pokljuka
This Thursday morning, the IBU logically announced that the starting order for the women’s individual short race at the Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka (Slovenia), scheduled to start at 11.30am, had been changed.
As was the case last week in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), poor weather conditions prompted the race jury to start the best athletes at the beginning of the race, so that they could benefit from a relatively unspoilt track.
After overnight snowfall, the Women Short Individual in Pokljuka is on track. 💪
The Competition Jury for the Women’s Short Individual has decided to start the competition in the alternative start group system, much like in Nove Mesto last week. 👇– International Biathlon Union (@biathlonworld) March 13, 2025
