Biathlon: one week after her comeback, Marketa Davidova will not be in Pokljuka
In the last few hours, Cesky Biatlon, the Czech Biathlon Federation, has published its list of athletes for the World Cup in Pokljuka (Slovenia). Marketa Davidova, who returned to competition last week in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), is not in the selected group.
“She’s going to undergo further tests to find out what treatment will be chosen next [to treat her herniated disc permanently],” says Lukas Dostal, coach of the women’s team.
Lucie Charvatova, Jessica Jislova, Tereza Vinklarkova and Tereza Vobornikova have been called up. On the men’s side, Vitezslav Hornig, Michal Krcmar, Jonas Marecek, Tomas Mikyska and Adam Vaclavik have been selected.
