10:28. This Thursday morning, Bornand biathlete Sophie Chauveau announced on her social networks that she would be withdrawing from the individual short race scheduled to start at 11.30am in Pokljuka (Slovenia).
Suffering from headaches and a sore throat, the 2024 world relay champion was forced to withdraw from this first Slovenian race. If she is not selected for one of Sunday’s mixed relays, it will be Sophie Chauveau, who is too far down the rankings to qualify for the mass start, who stops before she has even started.
