Biathlon: the gap is closed for Sturla Holm Lægreid
On Saturday, Sturla Holm Lægreid finished third in the mass start of the Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka (Slovenia) , won by Eric Perrot ahead of Quentin Fillon-Maillet.
In the absence of Johannes Thingnes Boe (967), who is ill, the Norwegian (1,071) takes a 104-point lead in the overall rankings with three races to go. He is now more than a race clear.

Eric Perrot (797) moved up to third place, followed byEmilien Jacquelin (755), Sebastian Samuelsson (732), Quentin Fillon-Maillet (706), Tommaso Giacomel (690), Tarjei Boe (663), Vebjoern Soerum (563) and Fabien Claude (549).
Elsewhere in the mass-start rankings, Sturla Holm Lægreid (260) remains in the red, but Eric Perrot (239) is not far behind. Quentin Fillon-Maillet (218) and Tarjei Boe (193) are also still in the running.
