Biathlon: the yellow bib on Sturla Holm Lægreid’s shoulders during the mass-start in Pokljuka
Second in the individual short race at the Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka (Slovenia) this Thursday afternoon, Norway’s Sturla Holm Lægreid regains the lead in the overall rankings.
Although he lost the yellow bib last weekend in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), the Scandinavian took advantage of Johannes Thingnes Boe’s tenth place, who was ill, to pick up some precious points and now has a 39-point lead with four races to go before the end of the winter.

Emilien Jacquelin (724) remains third ahead of Eric Perrot (707), Sebastian Samuelsson (703), Tommaso Giacomel (670), Quentin Fillon-Maillet (631) and Tarjei Boe (626). The day’s winner, Jakov Fak (503), is ninth. Eighteenth, Campbell Wright (356) keeps his blue bib as best U23.
