11:14. On Saturday morning, the sprints of the Polish Summer Biathlon Championships took place in Duszniki Zdroj (Poland). These races were won by Jan Gunka in the men’s race and Natalia Sidorowicz in the women’s race.
In the women’s 6km race, Natalia Sidorowicz won in 17 minutes 20 seconds 1, despite a penalty in the standing shot. She beat Anna Maka, who was perfect behind the rifle but slightly slower on skis, by just 1 second 8. The podium was completed by Daria Gembicka (8/10) who was just over a minute behind.

In the men’s race, Jan Gunka dominated the sprint. With a 10/10 in his shooting, he won the 7.5km event in 17 minutes and 6 tenths. He left runner-up Konrad Badacz (8/10) almost a minute behind. The podium was completed by Marcin Zawol (8/10).
