Biathlon: three visits to Prémanon and two to Bessans for the French men’s B team this summer
While the composition of the French biathlon team’s various training groups was unveiled at the end of April, Nordic Magazine this week reveals the schedule for the preparation of the different teams.
The French men’s B team, coached by Louis Deschamps and Bastien Moretti for the second summer in a row, will have seven training sessions over the summer. For Martin Botet, Corentin Jacob, Théo Guiraud-Poillot, Valentin Lejeune, Axel Garnier, Edgar Geny, Gaëtan Paturel and Damien Levet, the first of these will be in Prémanon (Jura) from 26 to 31 May.
After that, the next generation of biathletes will gather in Ceillac (Hautes-Alpes), in the Queyras region, for a training camp scheduled for 18-26 June. At the height of summer, the eight Tricolores in the group will meet again in Prémanon (13-22 July), then in Bessans (Savoie) from 12 to 23 August, at the same time as the senior team.
Finally, the last three gatherings will take place in Prémanon (11-19 September), before the Summer Tour in Arçon (Doubs), Font-Romeu (Pyrénées-Orientales), again with the A’s from 7 to 16 October before the Summer Tour in La Féclaz (Savoie), then on the snowfarming slopes of Bessans (5-18 November).
