Biathlon: Mont-Blanc ahead in the men’s mass-start at Prémanon
Following on from the women’s race won by Coralie Langel, the men’s biathletes took part in their mass-start at the French Cup in Prémanon (Jura) on Sunday morning.
In this race reserved for U22s and seniors only, with the U19s taking part in a mixed relay on the day, the Mont-Blanc committee monopolised the top places. Although there was some suspense before the final shot, it was Judicaël Perrillat-Bottonet (16/20) who came out on top. Quicker than Jacques Jefferies (16/20) in the final kilometres, he won by 11 sec 7.

Savoyard Ian Martinet (17/20) completed the podium at 26 sec 4 ahead of Mathieu Garcia (14/20), the overall leader, and Paul Fontaine (15/20). Alexis Colomban (15/20), Pierig Maillot (16/20), Martin Botet (14/20), Lou Thiévent (15/20) and Rémi Broutier (12/20) rounded out the top 10.
