Biathlon: Léonie Jeannier wins the Prémanon regional biathlon by a whisker ahead of Maëlle Achoui

This Saturday, SC Abbaye organised the traditional end-of-year regional biathlon at the Tuffes stadium in Prémanon (Jura). In this sprint, the women’s victory was decided by a whisker, with Léonie Jeannier (8/10) winning by 0 sec 1 from Maëlle Achoui (10/10).

Chloé Orvain (8/10) took third place at 25 sec 2, just ahead of Lisa Cart-Lamy (9/10) and Lisa Siberchicot (8/10). Romane Ouvrier-Buffet (7/10), Ninon Duvillard (9/10), Anna Blanc (10/10), Rose Marguet (10/10) and Thaïs Royet (8/10) rounded out the top 10.

In the men’s race, Ilann Dupont (9/10) took first place 23 seconds 8 seconds ahead of Esteban Javaux (7/10), while Romain Michaud-Claret (9/10) rounded off the podium ahead of Lionel Jouannaud (8/10), Cyprien Mermillod-Blardet (7/10), Niels Bibollet (6/10) and Pierrick Pasteur (6/10) by just a few seconds.

In the U17s, success went to Jules Lafoux (7/10), ahead of Samuel Morin (8/10) and Noa Humbert (5/10), and Léonie Morin (9/10), stronger than Pauline Lafoux (7/10) and Maya Perrey (6/10).
