Biathlon: a hard-fought victory for Sacha Mazzilli-Riaboff
Just minutes after Montblanc’s Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet ‘s brilliant victory in the U17 women’s mass-start 60, it was the boys who were on deck this Sunday morning for the French Biathlon Cup.
In sunny Prémanon (Jura), over a 7.5km race, it was Féclaz’s Sacha Mazzilli-Riaboff (10/15) who took victory. At the end of the race, he battled with a number of rivals, making just one mistake on the last shot to secure victory, and then resisting the comeback of his rivals in the final loop.

Romeufontaine’s Charli Thiery (12/15) finished second at 5 sec 1, while Savoyard Mathis Yvoz (9/15) was third at 6 sec 9. Below the minute mark, Gaspard Dordor (10/15), Maël Bernole (12/15), Quentin Caviglia (9/15), Niels Bibollet (10/15) and Timéo Amiotte (10/15) followed in the rankings. Lilian Kambellec (8/15) and Nicolas Colomban (7/15) close the top 10.
