Biathlon: another impressive Norwegian group at the IBU Cup
At the same time as announcing the squad for the World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria), the Norwegian Biathlon Association unveiled its line-up for the IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy), scheduled to start on Thursday.
The squad includes the prestigious reinforcements of Isak Frey and Endre Stroemsheim, who have been relegated from the top flight. With Mathias Skrede coming up from the Norwegian Cup, Herman Dramdal Borge and Mats Oeverby are the ones to bear the brunt of these changes. Joergen Sæter, Kasper Kalkenberg and Vetle Paulsen, on the other hand, will continue in the IBU Cup.

On the women’s side, Aasne Skrede is moving up to the World Cup and Eline Grue is returning to the national circuit. To replace them, the staff have called on Emilie Kalkenberg and Synne Owren, who shone at the end of November at the Norwegian Cup in Geilo (Norway). Frida Dokken, Juni Arnekleiv, Karoline Erdal and Siri Skar have been retained.
