Biathlon: Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold is no longer injured
For the last three weeks, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, leader of the Norwegian women’s national biathlon team, has been absent from the long altitude training camp organised at the Col de Lavazè (Italy). The decision was made to take it easy on last winter’s world number 3, who had suffered a hip injury, so as not to overstretch her and give her time to recover.
After training on her own at home, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold spent a few days training in Torsby (Sweden), where she found snow in the tunnel with the Norwegian team’s B group.

In the last few hours, news of the Scandinavian star has been given by his coach Sverre Huber Kaas to NTB in comments relayed by Nettavisen: “It’s going well, he began reassuringly. At the beginning, there was some pain that forced us to limit certain movements. It was therefore difficult for her to come and train at altitude where there are a lot of climbs.”
While the coach regrets thatIngrid Landmark Tandrevold was unable to take part in this important training camp at the end of the preparation period, he explains that his entire squad is now ready for the races in Sjusjøen (Norway) scheduled for 16 and 17 November. “But we still have to be careful,” says Sverre Huber Kaas of his leader.
