Biathlon: the French selected for the Ridnaun-Val Ridanna races
This week, the IBU Biathlon Cup travels to Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy). The seventh leg of the World Cup satellite circuit will be used to select the final French place at the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland).
In the Italian sprint, pursuit and mass-start 60, Sophie Chauveau, Paula Botet and Gilonne Guigonnat will be fighting for this final spot in the women’s group. Camille Bened, current IBU Cup leader, Amandine Mengin and Voldiya Galmace-Paulin will also be taking part in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna.

The boys’ squad has been reduced from six to four compared with the European championships: Théo Guiraud-Poillot, Oscar Lombardot, Gaëtan Paturel and Rémi Broutier have been selected, while Valentin Lejeune and Edgar Geny return to France.
