Biathlon: a new World Cup entry for the Czechs
On Tuesday morning, the Czech Biathlon Federation unveiled the list of athletes selected for this week’ s World Cup in Ruhpolding (Germany). Still suffering from a herniated disc, Marketa Davidova is once again absent, continuing “conservative treatment”.
That’s why the Czech staff have decided to call up 18-year-old Heda Mikosalova for her very first World Cup. She will team up with Lucie Charvatova, Jessica Jislova, Tereza Vobornikova and Kristyna Otcovska.
On the men’s side, Vitezslav Hornig, Mikulas Karlik, Michal Krcmar, Jonas Marecek and Adam Vaclavik have been selected.
