11:04. On Tuesday morning, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) released a brief statement outlining the composition of the Transalpine women’s relay team lining up on Wednesday afternoon at the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding (Germany).
Back on the circuit after skipping the Oberhof (Germany) stage, Dorothea Wierer and Lisa Vittozzi will be taking part. Hannah Auchentaller and Michela Carrara will accompany the two Italian stars on this last relay before the 2026 Olympic Games.

Rebecca Passler, who has a “slight cold”, has been withdrawn from the relay “as a precautionary measure”.
