Biathlon: Lou Jeanmonnot back on skis

The next training camp for the French women’s biathlon team is due to start on Monday 23 June in Prémanon (Jura), but Lou Jeanmonnot from the Franc-Comtois region is already in full training mode.

For the past few days, and until the start of the pre-manonier gathering, the two-time reigning world champion in the relay has been on the glacier at Tignes (Savoie). She decided to make the trip to the Vanoise massif in the company of the girls from the French cross-country skiing team.

“She’s doing a hypoxia block and taking advantage of the skiing conditions with the cross-country skiers,” confirms Cyril Burdet, coach of Les Bleues, to Nordic Magazine. A year ago, Lou Jeanmnonot also put her cross-country skis back on at Tignes in June.

It’s also worth noting that Jeanne Richard is currently doing a series of sessions in Bionaz, Italy, with Patrick Favre.
