Biathlon: Lisa Vittozzi followed by two coaches outside the national group
Although Lisa Vittozzi is included in the Italian national team squad for the 2025/2026 training season, she will be launching her summer preparations outside the federal framework.
Klaus Hoellrigl, Director of Biathlon at the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI), made the announcement in a press release on Wednesday lunchtime. “She needs a differentiated preparation because of her return, he explained. She will be monitored separately by coaches Alex Inderst and Edoardo Mezzaro and then gradually reunited with the other athletes in the team managed by Mirco Romanin and Jonne Kähkönen”.
