19:05. Three days after the first sprint, the American biathlon selections continued this Friday in Soldier Hollow (USA) with a second sprint. In the morning, Campbell Wright dominated the men’s race, clocking 9/10 on the mats.
In a time of 24 min 42 sec 2, he beat Maxime Germain (10/10) by 29 sec 6 and Jake Brown (9/10) by 34 sec 6. Vaclav Cervenka (10/10), Sean Doherty (9/10) and Paul Schommer (9/10) followed in the rankings.

Then, in the women’s race, Joanne Reid (9/10) proved to be the strongest. In 24 min 5 sec 3, she beat Chloe Levins (10/10) by 5 sec 5, while Canadian Nadia Moser (9/10) completed the podium at 59 sec 5. Margie Freed (8/10), Benita Peiffer (9/10) and Lina Farra (10/10) rounded out the top 6.
Ninth place for Lucinda Anderson (4/10), who won on Tuesday, while Tara Geraghty-Moats (6/10) was twelfth.
