Biathlon: Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold couldn’t find the solution in the sprint
Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold is clearly going through a difficult period. After missing out on her mixed relay on Wednesday to open the biathlon world championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), the Norwegian wanted to lift her spirits this Friday in the women’s sprint.

Insulted over the last few hours on social networks following her botched performance in the group event, the 28-year-old biathlete was not yet in the mood for competition this afternoon. The Scandinavian biathlete missed two targets and was unable to compete.
Twenty-third at the finish, nearly a minute and 15 seconds behind Justine Braisaz-Bouchet in first place, the native of Bærum (Norway) felt the pinch when she spoke to Siegfried Mazet, the Norwegian team’s French coach.

In tears for a few minutes, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold then appeared in the mixed zone with wet eyes: “I’m an emotional person and it’s like a pressure cooker. Sometimes you have to let go of everything,” she explained to NRK.

I felt tears welling up for no reason when I spoke with Siegfried,” she continues, before mentioning an important measure taken in the last few hours. With all the insults over the last few days, I realised that this was why I shouldn’t have any social networks. I’ve cut it all off, and I recommend it to everyone!
On Sunday, the young woman will be lining up at the start of the chase in a bid to make a fine comeback that would finally silence all her detractors.
