Biathlon: the twelve Germans for Oberhof announced
On Monday morning, the German Ski Association unveiled the list of biathletes selected for this week’s Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof (Germany).
Compared to the group that performed before Christmas in Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie), there is just one change to report: the replacement of Anna Weidel in the women’s group by Sophia Schneider, judged by the staff to be faster on skis. Franziska Preuss, yellow bib, Selina Grotian, Julia Kink, Julia Tannheimer and Vanessa Voigt will also be taking part.
So there are no surprises on the men’s side, with Philipp Horn, Simon Kaiser, Johannes Kuehn, Philipp Nawrath, Danilo Riethmueller and Justus Strelow all called up.
