Biathlon: the names of the French team selected for the Nove Mesto World Cup
On Monday, the French Ski Federation (FFS) unveiled the composition of its squad for this week’s Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic).
There are no surprises in this selection, as the biathletes involved in last month’ s World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) are all back. The women’s team includes Julia Simon, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Océane Michelon, Jeanne Richard, Lou Jeanmonnot and Sophie Chauveau, who was a substitute in Switzerland and is back on the big circuit for the first time since December.
On the men’s side, Emilien Jacquelin, Eric Perrot, Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon-Maillet and Emilien Claude, all medallists at the Roland Arena, will be joined by Doubiste’s Oscar Lombardot in the Czech Republic. Lombardot will be making his first World Cup appearance of the winter season.
