15:16. On Friday morning, just a few days before the Swedish opening races and three weeks before the start of the World Cup, the biathletes in the Swedish national team were competing in a test sprint on the snowfarm in Idre Fjäll (Sweden).
On the men’s side, victory went to Martin Ponsiluoma (10/10), ahead of Sebastian Samuelsson (10/10), who won the sprint and pursuit inÖstersund (Sweden) last month, and the surprising Melker Nordgren (9/10).
The women’s sprint was dominated by Anna Magnusson. She also shot a perfect 10/10, beating Hanna Oeberg (10/10) and Johanna Skottheim (8/10) in this training competition.
Organised every year as part of Sweden’s final training camp, the race is sponsored by ATG, one of the federation’s partners.
