14:06. Having already withdrawn on Sunday from the pursuit at the biathlon world championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), Italy’s Dorothea Wierer will not be at the start of the individual race scheduled for Tuesday from 3.05pm.
In a statement, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) said that its superstar, who was competing in her last World Championships, was “still suffering from a cold”. Martina Trabucchi is taking her place, competing alongside Samuela Comola, Hannah Auchentaller and Michela Carrara.
