Biathlon: after becoming a father, Antonin Guigonnat returns to the World Cup
On Friday, as the snow fell heavily on the Pokljuka stadium (Slovenia), where training had been cancelled, Antonin Guigonnat from Haut-Savoie made the journey to the Slovenian venue, as he revealed on his Instagram account.
The biathlete from Morzine-Avoriaz (Haute-Savoie), who qualified for the mass-start on Saturday afternoon thanks to his overall World Cup ranking, will be back on the world circuit for the first time since the end of January. Stéphane Bouthiaux, director of the French biathlon teams, confirmed this to Nordic Magazine.

Antonin Guigonnat , who became the father of a little Lucie in the meantime, will enable France to line up seven athletes at the start of this mass-start , as Emilien Jacquelin, Eric Perrot, Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, Emilien Claude and Oscar Lombardot are also qualified.
