Biathlon: Elisa Gasparin wins her last Swiss championships
Late on Friday afternoon, the 2025 Swiss Biathlon Championships kicked off in Goms (Switzerland) with 6km sprints for both men and women.
Competing in her last national championships a week after ending her World Cup career, Elisa Gasparin (9/10) won another gold medal. She beat Lena Baumann (9/10) to the podium by 32 seconds 6 seconds and Lea Meier (8/10) by 1 minute 0 seconds 1 seconds.

Coralie Langel (4/10) finished twelfth in her first race in Switzerland since announcing her change of sporting nationality.

The men’s race was dominated by Sebastian Stalder. With an 8/10, he beat Joscha Burkhalter (6/10) by 31 sec 3 and Paul Stalder (8/10) by 41 sec 2. Arnaud Du Pasquier (5/10) took eleventh place.
