Biathlon: Lena Haecki-Gross wins again
The second day of the Swiss biathlon selections in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) on Sunday was devoted to pursuits… with predefined gaps of 30 seconds between the various protagonists. In the lead at the start following her success in the sprint, Lena Haecki-Gross (17/20) held on to that lead to win by 10 seconds 8 seconds ahead of Aita Gasparin (18/20) and 28 seconds 5 seconds ahead of Amy Baserga (17/20).
Elisa Gasparin (17/20), Susanna Meinen (15/20), Irene Cadurisch (18/20), Flavia Barmettler (16/20), Alessia Laager (18/20), Anja Fischer (17/20) and Lara Berwert (18/20) follow in the top 10.

On the men’s side, Sebastian Stalder (20/20) managed to get the better of Niklas Hartweg (18/20) thanks to a perfect run. Jeremy Finello (18/20) finished on the podium, while Joscha Burkhaleter (17/20), James Pacal (18/20), Yannik Kreuzer (18/20), Matthias Riebli (16/20) and Arnaud Du Pasquier (14/20) completed the day’s top 8.
