Biathlon: Austria led by Simon Eder and Lisa Theresa Hauser in Östersund
This Friday morning, theAustrian Ski Association revealed the list of biathletes selected for the first round of the 2025/2026 World Cup scheduled to start on 29 November in Östersund (Sweden).
Finalised following the selection races held over the last few days in Obertilliach (Germany), this group comprises ten riders. On the women’s side, Lisa Theresa Hauser and Anna Ganler share the lead with Anna Andexer, Anna Juppe and Dunja Zdouc in their wake.
In the men’s category, Simon Eder is still with us at over 40 years of age. Patrick Jakob, David Komatz, Fredrik Muehlbacher and Fabian Muellauer complete the group.
Lukas Haslinger, Magnus Oberhauser, Dominic Unterweger, Lea Rothshopf, Lara Wagner and Kristina Oberthaler will all be starting the winter in the IBU Cup.
